There is great potential here for high camp that is too rarely realized.

Scrambled is at its best when protagonist Nellie has awkward, funny, and occasionally insightful conversations with the people in her life.

It is a compelling story, very well-directed, with excellent performances and a clever, almost fairytale-like, design.
